The site maintenance crew person is responsible for a wide variety of duties. They should possess exceptional knowledge and demonstrate remarkable skills in the designated trade. They shall have the ability to carry out assignments and perform work of good quality with minimum supervision. They should demonstrate outstanding qualities in efficiency, initiative and dependability when completing various tasks. Essential performance responsibilities include performing work in a safe manner, maintaining good public relations, cooperating with other employees, displaying willingness to be trained, possessing a work ethic oriented toward efficiency and customer service, maintaining appropriate licenses and certifications, and supporting the organizational goals and mission of the school service center and the district.

The crew person must also work cooperatively with others and maintain open lines of communication.

The crew person is expected to perform proper maintenance and servicing of equipment, deliver and set up heavy equipment, operate cranes for various tasks, install and repair parking lots and earth moving operations, and perform snow removal operations. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor. The position requires the use of various equipment, including heavy equipment, hand tools, and power equipment.

Travel between schools in and out of the district as well as to central offices will be required. The crew person must be able to work indoors in extreme heat or cold and outdoors in inclement weather conditions, wear proper safety equipment, and work overtime on short notice if required. The position is non-exempt and offers full-time employment with a salary range of $18.85-$20.87 per hour.
