OverviewSalary Range $20.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time
DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywaller/Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining drywall and related structures across various construction and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all work meets safety standards, quality expectations, and project deadlines.
Duties
- Install drywall panels accurately according to construction plans and schematics, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening with hand tools and power tools.
- Perform drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting or further decoration.
- Repair damaged drywall by removing old sections, patching holes or cracks, and refinishing surfaces to restore structural integrity.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as caulking, plastering, and pipe repair as needed.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently, including proper use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and safety gear.
- Collaborate with team members on project timelines and communicate effectively to ensure seamless workflow on-site.
- Support restoration industry projects by performing mold remediation, plumbing repairs, masonry work, or remodeling tasks when required.

QualificationsExperience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on drywall installation and finishing techniques such as taping and texturing.
- Hands-on experience using hand tools (e.g., screw guns, taping knives) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders) safely and efficiently.
- Background in various aspects of construction including carpentry (frame carpentry), plastering, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation is highly desirable.
- Experience in the restoration industry or water damage remediation is a plus.
