Job StoryAs a Senior Maintenance Technician, you are the expertproblem-solver who keeps our facilities, equipment, and operations running safely and efficiently. From installing, inspecting, and repairing complex mechanical systems to tackling escalatedtroubleshooting issues, you play a critical role in minimizingdowntime and maintaining reliability. You work independently and collaboratively to complete structural and utility repairs, manage materials and inventory, maintain accurate service records, and respond to seasonal needs such as snow and ice removal.

Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of complex equipment and systems throughout the facility.
Essential Functions- Installs, tests, maintains and repairs mechanical machinery,equipment and systems as scheduled or needed.
- Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal and/or external trades.
- Inspects and tests equipment. Documents and maintains records ofinspections and work performed pursuant to departmental policies and warranty and/or vendor requirements.
- Requisition s materials and supplies, maintains inventory
- Performs troubleshooting or repairs that have been escalated orthat are more complex.
- Shovels and removes snow and ice from designated areas such asroofs, sidewalks and entryways as required.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Four (4) years of experience in general maintenance
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to gain knowledge of work-related agency operations,safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to understand and follow explicit instructions, both inoral and written form.
- Ability to work effectively with fellow workers andothers.
- Ability to assist others as needed.
Ability to position self for inspection, construction or maintenance of equipment and/or buildings including confined,elevated and loud noise spaces.
