Job Description - Engine Buildup Technician C (344306)

To install accessories including company manufactured parts on aircraft engines.

• Performs routine operations necessary to install standard and optional accessories as prescribed by blueprints, detailed instructions and standard shop practices prior to installation of engines in aircraft.
• Makes occasional installation and adjustment of accessories after engine is in aircraft.
• Uses hand tools such as torque wrenches, impact wrenches, screwdrivers, socket wrenches and hammers.
• Performs functional tests as required.
• Responsible for quality of own work.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level Work Keys certification.
• Interprets simple drawings, apply simple arithmetic and use some measuring instruments.

• 0-3 months mechanical or related experience.

Somewhat disagreeable working conditions due to continuous exposure to noise level of work area
