Jump Start Stores is seeking a dependable and mechanically skilled Beverage Equipment Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair beverage equipment throughout our convenience store locations. This position is responsible for keeping fountain drink machines, coffee equipment, frozen beverage machines, ice makers, water filtration systems, and related beverage equipment operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys troubleshooting problems, can work independently, and understands the importance of timely equipment repairs in a fast‑paced retail environment.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial beverage equipment.
• Service fountain drink and soda dispensing systems, including carbonators, pumps, regulators, valves, lines, and dispensing components.
• Maintain and repair commercial coffee and hot beverage equipment.
• Service frozen beverage/slush machines and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair ice machines and other beverage‑related equipment as assigned.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and equipment inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, water supply, CO₂, and refrigeration‑related equipment issues within the technician's training and qualifications.
• Install and replace beverage equipment, components, hoses, fittings, pumps, filters, and other parts.
• Respond to service calls from Jump Start locations and prioritize repairs based on operational needs.
• Communicate professionally with Store Managers, District Managers, Maintenance, and Operations regarding equipment status and needed repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, preventive maintenance, and parts used.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and commonly used replacement parts.
• Identify equipment that may require replacement rather than continued repair and communicate recommendations to management.
• Follow manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and applicable safety requirements.
• Maintain clean and professional work areas while completing repairs in operating store locations.
• Perform other maintenance and equipment‑related duties as assigned.

The regular work schedule for this position is 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Due to the operational needs of our convenience store locations, this position may also be required to respond to equipment issues outside of the regularly scheduled workday.

The technician must have the flexibility to:

• Work additional hours when operationally necessary.
• Be available for designated on‑call responsibilities.
• Respond to service calls that may occur after 2:00 PM and as late as 10:00 PM.
• Occasionally adjust the regular work schedule based on service needs, emergencies, equipment failures, or business demands.

On‑call scheduling and additional hours will be managed in accordance with company policy and applicable wage‑and‑hour requirements.

• Previous experience repairing beverage, restaurant, food service, refrigeration, appliance, HVAC, plumbing, or similar commercial equipment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, gauges, and diagnostic equipment.
