Parent Support and Prevention Specialist

As a Parent Support and Prevention Specialist, you'll be a trusted partner for families during some of their most challenging moments. Through supportive services, parenting education, advocacy, and resource connection, you'll help strengthen families, promote child well-being, and prevent children from entering formal foster care whenever safely possible.

In this role, you will empower parents with tools, knowledge, and support while connecting them to community resources tailored to their unique needs. Every conversation, every resource, and every relationship you build has the potential to create lasting positive change for a family.

This isn't just a position—it's an opportunity to help families succeed, keep children safe, and create stronger futures for generations to come.

  • Collaborate effectively within diverse, multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to write clearly, concisely, and effectively for a variety of audiences.
  • Travel required within surrounding counties with or without accommodation.
