Substance Abuse Counselor
Substance Abuse Center of Kansas is in search of a Group Facilitator/Peer Mentor for Hutchinson Correctional Facility. The job would consist of peer mentoring work (groups and individuals) and conducting CBI‑SUA Groups with use of UCCI curriculum, leading multiple groups of 10 individuals and coordinating services, recovery connections, skills building groups with assignments and planning for release and re‑integration to the community.
Preferred
Skills:
Group facilitation, customer service, community resources and recovery‑oriented systems of care knowledge.
Education Requirements:
GED, Microsoft Office knowledge preferred.
Background Checks: KDOC approval required, Driver’s license.
Hours:
Full‑time 40 hours per week, Some evening availability required.
