AWS Backend Developer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an AWS Backend Software Developer with extensive experience in Java script, Node.js and AWS for our client in Wichita, KS. This candidate will be implementing large scale serverless applications using the Node.js framework written in JavaScript and Type Script. They will be developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing and deployment process. They should have strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and proficiency using Git source control.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with unit and integration testing to ensure application reliability. Lastly, the candidate will be designing and developing REST APIs for application integration. This position is looking to start ASAP and is a 6 month contract with potential conversion/extension opportunities.

• 5+ years experience implementing large scale cloud-native applications
• 5+ years experience with JavaScript and Type Script
