• Identifies and implements areas for improvement through automation and process improvements

  Writes and edits Methods documents (i.e. Methods Manual or technical bulletins to include new software applications, processes, and/or procedures)
• Acts as systems focal
• Leads teams through data modeling
• Develops complex database applications resulting in highly integrated systems that can be used across the Learjet site by multiple business units
• Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require regular use of ingenuity and creativity
• Keeps customers and management informed of program progress and critical issues

• Typical 8+ years' experience in software development, programming, database implementation
• Typical 5+ years experience in Industrial Engineering
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles and practices
• Thorough knowledge of Oracle APEX, Java, C++, Dreamweaver (or equivalent)
• Thorough knowledge of Engineering technical principles, theories and concepts
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office and MS Project
• Thorough communication skills
