Due to continued growth, we are accepting applications for a Local Truck Driver CDL A Flatbed Driver in Wichita, KS.

• Hourly pay $24.00-$26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Three pay increases in first year: 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.
• OT after 40 hours per week.
• Typical work week is 40-45 hours per week.

• Monday-Friday
• Start time typically 6:30am, work until finished, usually 4:00pm-5:00pm.
• No layovers, home daily.
• Make 3-4 stops per route, within 250 mile radius.
• Must be flexible with work schedule and route assignments.

• Delivering and unloading steel building supplies to steel shops/end users.
• Drive CDL trucks to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
• Reporting maintenance/repair issues on trucks and/or equipment.
• Flatbed Conestoga trailers, no tarping. Drivers are responsible for load securement.

• Must be minimum of 21 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of CDL A tractor-trailer flatbed experience required.
• Possess a Class A Commercial Driver’s License, with air brakes endorsement.
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical.
• Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S..
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Be able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds with no assistance.
