Warehouse​/Delivery Driver

Description

The Warehouse/Delivery Driver provides safe and efficient order fulfillment and delivery of Pella Products. This position must stage and pull materials for jobs, load and unload by hand and with equipment. A qualified candidate will possess good interpersonal skills as they will be delivering to Pella customers and working with technicians as needed.

• Receives deliveries
• Staging/Pulling materials for jobs
• Assisting Technicians in the field when necessary
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have adequate physical strength to frequently unload, load, and lift 400 lbs. with assistance
• Must regularly push, pull, and maneuver 50-400 pounds up and down inclines and uneven surfaces. Occasionally the navigation of stairs is required.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions
• Use of handheld scanning devices preferred
• Daily use of Forklift, Picker and safety equipment
• Meet delivery schedule in a timely manner
• Inspect, load and deliver
• Verify accuracy of customer orders

• DOT card required (physical required)
• Valid driver’s license, insurable on auto policy
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient use of technology (smart phone, Ipad, etc.)
• Good interpersonal skills required

• Previous warehouse experience
• Construction Experience is a plus
