Truck Driver – Wichita, KS

Oxy Chem is looking for an experienced and self‑motivated individual to fill the position of Truck Driver with our chemical manufacturing facility located in Wichita, KS.

• Safely operate the tractor/trailer from base location to customer location.
• Operate unloading equipment and off‑load trailers.
• Complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and submit proper documentation.
• Read and understand all shipping paperwork and accurately complete required documentation, including logs.
• Wear and utilize all PPE required by the company or customer locations.
• Strictly adhere to Oxy safety policies and procedures.
• Strictly adhere to DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations and standards.
• Adapt to schedule changes.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills.
• At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience or military equivalent.
• Current CDL with the ability to obtain a tanker and hazardous materials endorsement.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• Meet criteria for safety‑sensitive functions according to DOT 49

• No history of drug or alcohol violations under DOT regulations.
• No more than two moving violations in the last three years.
• No DWI/DUI convictions in the last five years.
• No more than one preventable accident in the last three years.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre‑employment drug test.
• Ability to lift at least 50lb.
• Understand and write in English, including simple mathematics.
