Delivery Driver

Local aircraft company is seeking a delivery driver to distribute various products promptly & accurately to our customers and vendors in a professional manner. Will be driving a sprinter van and a F150 Pickup.
This position is only temporary, but may become temp to perm for the right person.

• Valid Driver’s License
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• High School Degree or equivalent
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail

• Take instructions from supervisor regarding daily deliveries and pick up / drop off requirements.
• Ensure designated vehicles are road worthy and in good working condition
  • All fluid levels are maintained
  • Routine maintenance as required
• Maintain cleanliness of company trucks by cleaning seats, mats and dashboards on daily basis. Take to car wash as needed.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate company vehicles on a daily basis and take product / packages to appropriate locations
• Make deliveries by maintaining correct knowledge of destinations and contacts
  • Knowing customer receiving / shipping dock hours
  • Using technology (GPS / company cell phone) to assist in charting out routes
• Provide & obtain appropriate paperwork to customers / vendors
• Maintain professional appearance during commute time & while at Customer facilities
• Take and forward any complaints or concerns made by customers / vendors to supervisor
