The Company began in 1980 and has since expanded its regional footprint and continues to grow into one of the largest full‑service charter and tour operations in the Midwest.

We are searching for a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, responsible for providing support to our Director of Fleet Maintenance, Shop Foremen, and mechanics at all Village Travel locations.

Position Summary:

This position is Full-Time; the schedule is Monday - Friday from 6am - 3pm.

Starting at $21 - 24/hr based on experience.

Fleet Maintenance Coordinator Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manage, close, and audit all work orders for all necessary details.
  • Maintain complete and accurate service history for all fleet vehicles.
  • Promote a clean and safe shop environment.
  • Complete monthly mileage and tire reports.
  • Keep accurate inventory of shop tools and coordinate transfers among locations.
  • Manage mechanic and detailer uniform program and ensure all have proper PPE.
  • Provide insurance repair estimates for Safety Department.
  • Manage documentation from outside service providers.
  • Manage MSDS documentation.
  • Track manufacturer recalls and service bulletins.
  • Create and track all warranty claims and follow up with vendors to ensure fair and timely reimbursement.
  • Occasional travel to other company locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in the automotive or heavy‐duty equipment industries.
  • Proficient with computers and learning new software.
  • Knowledgeable in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical experience in bus, heavy truck, agricultural, aircraft, or automotive equipment fields.
Physical Demands:
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
