Inventory Technician

The Inventory Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting cycle counts and audits, and ensuring material movement and storage comply with company procedures. This role works closely with warehouse operations, receiving, and quality teams to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and support efficient inventory flow.

• Perform cycle counts and periodic physical inventories in accordance with established schedules.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies; document root causes and corrective actions.
• Execute inventory transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS), including adjustments, transfers, and status changes.
• Support receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping activities to ensure accurate inventory movement.
• Verify item identification, lot numbers, quantities, and locations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy for regulated, temperature‑controlled, or controlled materials as applicable.
• Assist with audit preparation and support internal and external audits.
• Communicate inventory issues clearly to warehouse leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and work instruction requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
