Warehouse Coordinator IV – New Century

The

Responsibilities Include:
  • Ordering, picking, filling, and preparation of customer orders following GMP guidelines. Coordination with the supply chain, Innovations, and sales personnel in sending samples to customers and other IFF locations.
  • Ensuring that all required shipping documents are properly prepared according to the customer’s request along with various other administrative duties.
  • Daily communication with department Warehouse Lead pertaining to receiving and shipping orders.
  • Performs material handling functions on a daily basis for both domestic and international orders.
  • Assists with performing cycle counts.
  • Assist in administrative tasks, such as the handling and preparation of paperwork, and may assist in the daily closing of the warehouse.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing any and all tasks as established by management when needed.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements as established by management.
Required

Experience and Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of computer skills in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Understand and follow good manufacturing practices (GMP) for the care, handling, and storage of food products.
  • Ability to lift 55 pounds in a safe manner.
Required Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years of experience/education in a manufacturing, laboratory, military, or related role.
  • Material handling forklift experience.
Additional Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements:

This position is quality driven and requires a person who can think and act with minimal supervision. The person needs to be organized and detail‑oriented, able to identify problems while adhering to all policies surrounding the general and daily workflow. Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills are essential, and the candidate must work well with fellow employees and members of management.
