3rd Shift Material Handler – Shipping

Job Summary

Central Plains Steel, a division of Feralloy, is seeking a dependable Warehouse/Operator to support plant operations by safely handling materials, fulfilling orders, and maintaining an organized work environment.

Stand, sit (stationary position), walk (move, traverse), climb stairs/ladders or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk/hear (communicate, detect, converse, discern, convey, express oneself, exchange information); see (detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, assess); push or pull; reach; use hand/fingers to handle or feel (operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect, position).

Heavy work – exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

• Pull, package, and prepare orders based on work/shipping instructions
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, and yard trucks
• Perform quality checks and ensure proper material tagging
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Follow all safety and operational procedures

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Warehouse or material handling experience
• High School Diploma or GED

Sunday–Thursday, 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM (5 days, 8‑hour shifts)

$17–$20/hr + $5 shift differential
