Automotive Stock Clerk

• Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners/pick tickets to ensure accurate stock placement.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing order pickers and warehouse management systems to meet delivery deadlines.
• Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products according to warehouse layout standards and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to verify stock accuracy and update records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or AS400 platform.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring safe handling of goods during transportation activities.
• Support shipping & receiving operations by verifying shipment details, preparing packing materials, and documenting transactions accurately.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and load/unload machinery following safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage.

• Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred; familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 software for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one; experience operating reach trucks and pallet jacks is desirable.
• Strong basic math skills for counting stock, measuring dimensions, and verifying quantities accurately.
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with experience in order fulfillment, picking & packing, and order picking.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
