Veterinary Technician Assistant

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and detail oriented Veterinary Technician Assistant who takes pride in their work and values high standards of care, communication, and accountability. Hassayampa Veterinary Services is a busy, full service veterinary hospital in Wickenburg, AZ, seeking an experienced and committed professional to join our team. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, and thrives in a fast paced, professional setting where teamwork, consistency, and excellence are expected.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Prior experience in a veterinary, animal care, or healthcare environment preferred
• Strong interest in veterinary medicine and a desire to learn clinical skills in a hospital setting
• Ability to follow instructions, protocols, and safety procedures consistently
• Willingness to assist veterinary technicians and doctors with patient care and daily hospital operations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain organized in a fast paced environment
• Professional communication skills and a respectful, team oriented approach
• Physical ability to assist with patient handling and routine animal care tasks
• Dependable, punctual, accountable, and career oriented with a strong work ethic
• Interest in long term growth and development within the veterinary profession

This is a full-time position offering a 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays.

• Monday - Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
• Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm

Our team members can expect competitive compensation. The starting pay range for this position is $18 – $20 per hour
, dependent upon experience, education, and qualifications.
