Environmental Compliance Engineer – Wickliffe, OH

We’re looking for a driven Environmental Compliance Engineer who is ready to take ownership of our environmental programs and help us maintain the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage all environmental compliance programs, including air, water, waste, and chemical management.
  • Maintain and update environmental permits, records, and reporting requirements (EPA, state, and local).
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to drive environmental best practices across the facility.
  • Oversee hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and recommend process improvements that reduce environmental impact.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert during regulatory inspections and external audits.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
  • Strong understanding of EPA, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and related regulations.
  • Ability to interpret regulations and translate them into practical, actionable programs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple priorities.
