How You'll Make an Impact

The Global Mechanical Integrity & Reliability Senior Manager is responsible for driving the execution and performance of Mechanical Integrity (MI) and Reliability programs across all manufacturing sites. This role ensures that critical equipment is inspected, maintained, and improved in the field to meet safety, environmental, and operational requirements. The Director leads a centralized corporate team (~6 direct/indirect reports) and works directly with site engineering, maintenance, HSES, and operations to implement programs, close gaps, resolve equipment issues, and deliver measurable improvements in reliability, compliance, and cost performance.

Program Execution & Standards Deployment:
Drive implementation and adoption of corporate Mechanical Integrity & Reliability standards across all sites. Translate standards into practical work processes, procedures, and tools used by site teams. Track and actively manage execution performance vs. targets, ensuring timely closure of gaps. Conduct regular site engagement and reviews to validate application of standards and identify barriers.

Mechanical Integrity Program Execution:
Ensure consistent execution of MI programs across:
Pressure vessels, piping, tanks, relief devices, ESD systems, and rotating equipment. Drive site-level implementation of:
Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programs;
Inspection Data Management Systems (IDMS);
Fitness-for-service (FFS) assessments. Lead MI audits, field verifications, and gap closure actions. Ensure timely completion of inspections, corrective actions, and overdue backlog reduction.

Reliability Improvement Delivery:
Deploy and sustain reliability work processes at the site level, including:
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM);
Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA);
Equipment criticality-based maintenance strategies. Partner with sites to resolve chronic equipment issues and eliminate repeat failures. Deliver measurable improvements in:
Equipment uptime and availability;
Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF);
Maintenance cost efficiency. Establish and monitor reliability KPIs with clear accountability for results.

Risk Reduction & Field Decision Support:
Apply risk-based prioritization to drive maintenance, inspection, and repair decisions. Provide hands-on technical support to sites for:
Equipment integrity issues;
Failure investigations;
Turnaround scope definition and execution. Participate in capital project reviews to ensure maintainability, operability, and reliability. Ensure lessons learned from failures and incidents are implemented across sites.

Digital Tools & Data Utilization:
Deploy and ensure use of MI and reliability digital tools (IDMS, CMMS/EAM, condition monitoring). Drive data quality, completeness, and usability for inspection and maintenance systems. Use data to identify performance gaps, prioritize actions, and track execution progress. Partner with IT/OT teams to enable practical, user-focused solutions that improve field execution.

Team Leadership & Site Capability Building:
Manage a team of ~6 SMEs to support site execution and problem-solving. Provide direct support to site teams, including training, troubleshooting, and field engagement. Standardize tools, templates, and workflows to enable consistent execution. Build capability through hands-on coaching, practical training, and certification support.

Compliance, Safety & Continuous Improvement:
Ensure consistent execution of Mechanical Integrity requirements under OSHA PSM. Verify that all critical inspections, testing, and repairs are completed on time and documented. Lead closure of audit findings and compliance gaps. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that:
Reduce loss-of-containment risks;
Improve inspection and maintenance effectiveness;
Increase audit readiness and compliance performance. Ensure rigorous execution of Management of Change (MOC) for equipment modifications.
