Ceramics Shell Process Engineer

Consolidated Precision Products is seeking a Ceramics Shell Process Engineer to optimize and support ceramic shell operations for complex aerospace castings. In this role you will develop, document, and improve shell building processes, monitor production parameters, and lead root-cause problem solving to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface quality. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations to qualify new materials and tooling, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvement in yield, throughput, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document ceramic shell process parameters for aerospace castings
• Monitor shell building operations and adjust processes to ensure quality and yield targets
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for shell-related defects
• Collaborate with design, quality, and operations on new product introductions and process qualifications
• Evaluate and qualify new materials, tooling, and equipment for shell processes
• Implement continuous improvement projects to improve throughput, cost, and safety
• Support operator training and standard work for shell room activities
• Analyze production data and generate reports on process capability and performance
