Aerospace Process Engineer

Consolidated Precision Products seeks an Aerospace Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes for complex aerospace castings and machined components. You will analyze production performance, implement continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives, and ensure processes meet strict safety, quality, and customer requirements. Working closely with quality, engineering, and operations teams across sites, you'll support new product introductions, troubleshoot defects, drive root cause analysis, and train operators while contributing to CPP's high-reliability aerospace programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace castings and machined components
• Analyze production data and drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives
• Ensure processes comply with safety, quality, and customer requirements (e.g., aerospace standards)
• Support new product introductions and process validation activities
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process and quality issues
• Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and operations teams across sites
• Train and support operators and technicians on new or updated processes
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement process controls (SPC, capability)
• Participate in cross-plant and continuous improvement projects
