Job Type: Full-time. Collaborate in person 4 days each week, with 1 flexible day.
How You’ll Make an ImpactAs a Cloud Platform Architect, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving the design and implementation of robust cloud infrastructure solutions. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing, and enhance modern life. In this role, you will:
- Design scalable and resilient cloud architectures.
- Develop cost assessments and manage, monitor, and report cloud costs.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement cloud-based applications.
- Implement security controls to protect cloud systems.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud services.
- Oversee migration of data from legacy systems to cloud platforms.
- Plan and implement data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data center architecture and management.
- In-depth experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, IAM, and KMS.
- Experience with OS, DB, HA/DR/LB concepts and migration planning.
- Ability to develop automation tools for provisioning and managing resources.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect).
- Advanced degree in related technical field.
- Experience with specialized cloud software or tools.
- Additional certifications such as Cisco, VMware, or Data Center Management.
- Standing, walking, or operating equipment for extended periods
- Working in a lab or manufacturing setting with appropriate PPE provided
- Use of computers and digital tools in an office or hybrid environment
- Occasional lifting or movement of materials
- Adherence to rigorous safety protocols and ergonomic standards
