Directing maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Planning maintenance activities
• Supporting maintenance needs of the foundry, including work assignments, scheduling of overtime, and training
• Analyzing maintenance work orders
• Assigning maintenance personnel to complete necessary orders and coordinating maintenance workflows with production to minimize downtime
• Developing maintenance programs
• Implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maintain and optimize foundry
• Daily maintenance and repair of vacuum furnaces
• Assist foundry operators with furnace graphite maintenance as required by supervision
• Assist in other plant maintenance work as may be required
• Order parts and maintain lead times
• Keep count of minimum and maximum part count
• On Call 24/7 for emergencies
• Enforcing and following all safety measures for you and your employees

• General knowledge of vacuum furnace operation and repair
• General knowledge of cooling tower systems and repairs
• Be available for 24/7 emergencies
• Available for all foundry shutdowns
• Experience in general maintenance of plant equipment
• Background in hydraulics, plumbing, electrical, pipe fitting, welding, and soldering needed
