Job Location and Schedule
This position is Tuesday - Saturday 1st Shift at our Eastlake facility located at 34300 Melinz Parkway.
ObjectiveX-ray castings, Inspect rough castings, train and maintain supplies
Responsibilities- Take radiographic images of castings.
- Develop film in the processor.
- Perform specific tests and calibrations and document the results in accordance to specific procedures.
- Develop and maintain rough casting x-ray techniques.
- Interpret rough casting x-ray film to customer requirements.
- Inventory and store x-ray film and chemicals to QEI 17.1 requirements.
- Mix chemicals in accordance to instructions.
- Make, maintain and replace fixtures and film cassettes.
- Provide Level I training.
- Pass level I exam.
- Keep area clean.
- Perform other duties specified by the supervisor.
- Adhere to plant and department safety rules.
- Safely operate all equipment and tools.
- Identify and report safety problems.
- Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform all other duties assigned by supervision.
- X-ray Level I certification in accordance to NDTQ and NAS-410.
- Ability to follow written instructions and perform basic math calculations.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow customer requirements and specifications.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or maneuver objects weighing thirty to fifty pounds.
- Experience in x-ray interpretation is a plus.
- Must pass annual eye exam.
- High School graduate or GED required.
- Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions.
- Meet or exceed defined Visual Acuity (when required).
- Meet color perception standards needed in performance of job requirements (when required).
