Job Description

3rd Shift (10pm-6am)

Position Summary

Setup and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure attributes of complex ceramic cores.

Essential Functions

Run and set up CMM programs according to procedure
Use transducer gauge
Perform cutoff operation
Use all hand‑held measuring devices according to procedure
Run CMM machine for inspection and read product X‑Rays
Meet department productivity and yield standards
Follow and adhere to all safety procedures
Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
Other duties as assigned by supervision

Required Skills

Previous experience in inspection or quality is a plus
Detail oriented and well organized
Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment
Self‑directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision

Experience & Education

Must be able to read and write, and perform basic mathematical problems

Physical Demands

Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, climbing, and exposure to moving machinery. Work may require standing < 1% of time, walking 1‑33% of time, and lifting tasks as needed.
