Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Tow Motor preferred)

Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk (Tow Motor preferred)

Type: Temp to hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm; OT when available

Position Summary: This position is responsible for the physical & administrative tasks involved in the receiving, shipping, and distributing of products, materials, parts and supplies. This position works under direct supervision and follows standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
• Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes.
• Completes shipping and receiving reports.
• Applies basic skills and may develop advanced skills using tools and equipment appropriate for the position or specialization.

Qualifications:

• Must have the ability to count products and complete simple paperwork.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English and with the use of a two-way radio.
• Forklift /Tow Motor experience preferred.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks; stretch, turn, twist, and reach; bend, crouch, squat, kneel and stoop for extensive periods of time.
• May require long hours of standing, sitting or bending.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus, with/correction.
