Dip Operator 1st Shift

Position Summary

The Dip Operator is responsible for the execution of the entirety of the dip process. This includes dip tank and dryer operation, part movement/staging and completion of required paperwork.

• Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Dip Machines.
• Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routers, CQCS, etc).
• Operate dip tanks.
• Test dip tanks to procedure standards.
• Load ceramic cores into racks.
• Load racks into dip tanks/dryers belts.
• Safely operate belt dryer.
• Move product throughout the plant per router.
• Complete all required documentation accurately.
• Meet department productivity and yield standards.
• Follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
• Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

• Ability to follow procedures.
• Good organization skills.
• Ability to communicate in writing and verbally.
• Ability to move/lift up to 35 pounds continually.

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic geometry knowledge.
