The Dip Operator is responsible for the execution of the entirety of the dip process. This includes dip tank and dryer operation, part movement/staging and completion of required paperwork.
Essential Functions- Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Dip Machines.
- Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routers, CQCS, etc).
- Test dip tanks to procedure standards.
- Load ceramic cores into racks.
- Safely operate belt dryer.
- Move product throughout the plant per router.
- Complete all required documentation accurately.
- Meet department productivity and yield standards.
- Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by supervision.

- Good organization skills
- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally
- Ability to move/lift up to 35 pounds continually
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic Geometry Knowledge
- 1% - Standing
- 1-33% - Walking
- 34-66% - Lifting
- 67-100% - Climbing
- 1-2x hr.
- Standing - 3-6x hr.
- Walking - 7-30 hr.
- Lifting - >30x hr.
- Climbing - Near moving machinery - Standing, Walking, Lifting, Climbing
