Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday 6am‑4pm;

CMC America, LLC is a leader in cutting‑edge automated packaging solutions. Our equipment produces right‑size boxes on demand — up to 1,000 per hour — directly inside our customer facilities.
What You'll DoThe Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring corrugate machines on a daily basis to ensure efficient and safe operations. This role involves ensuring machines are running smoothly, maintaining a steady production pace, and meeting quality standards. The operator will follow established procedures and safety guidelines while working in a team environment to achieve production goals.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor production machinery according to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure machines are functioning correctly, reporting and addressing any mechanical issues or malfunctions.
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Follow production schedules and remove defective items as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
- Record production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members, shift supervisors, and maintenance personnel to resolve production issues.
- Comply with all company policies, safety regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1‑2 years’ experience operating corrugate manufacturing machinery.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine functions.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with production metrics and quality control processes is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed.
- Attention to detail and strong observation skills.
- Problem‑solving abilities to identify and resolve mechanical issues quickly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with other departments.
- Basic computer skills to enter production data or interact with digital control panels.
