We are seeking a detail‑oriented CMM Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift. In this role, you will setup and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect complex ceramic cores, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on measurement, problem‑solving, and contributing to a high‑performing quality team.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and operate CMM programs according to established procedures.
- Use transducer gages and perform cutoff operations as required.
- Utilize hand‑held measuring devices accurately and according to procedure.
- Run CMM machines for inspection and read product X‑Rays.
- Ensure department productivity and yield standards are met.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain department housekeeping and 6S standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
- Previous experience in inspection or quality control is a plus.
- Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self‑directed and capable of accomplishing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Work in a specialized manufacturing environment supporting high‑precision components.
