This posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald’s logos and food products but is a separate company and employer. Any employment matters—including hiring, firing, discipline, and scheduling—are managed solely by the franchisee. The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring compliance with McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. They work with their leader to set goals and create action plans to achieve them. Responsibilities include leading Department Managers, setting their objectives, monitoring progress, coaching and training departments, and hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a competent team for future operations.

Ideal candidates have previous General Manager experience overseeing high‑volume locations, with a background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail strongly desired. Candidates must be 18 years or older to serve as a manager in corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
