Job Title:
Commercial Electrician – Solar PV

Location: North West (with nationwide travel)

Salary: £40,000 – £46,000 (depending on experience) + vehicle, training, holidays and seasonal 4‑day work weeks

A growing renewable energy contractor is looking to expand its installation team with an experienced Commercial Electrician. The business delivers full turnkey solutions across solar PV and battery storage, covering design, installation, commissioning and maintenance within the commercial and industrial sector. With a strong project pipeline and continued growth, this is a great opportunity to join a company investing heavily in both people and projects.

This role offers the chance to work on large‑scale commercial solar installations across the UK, with clear progression and ongoing training available.

• Installation and commissioning of commercial Solar PV systems
• Working on large‑scale rooftop and ground‑mounted projects
• Integration into existing plant rooms and three‑phase systems
• Ensuring high standards of installation and site health & safety
• Nationwide travel with regular stay‑aways

• Qualified Electrician with ECS Gold Card
• Experience in commercial environments and three‑phase systems
• Confident working from electrical drawings
• 18th Edition (essential)
• Level 3 Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexible to travel and stay away regularly
• Solar experience desirable
• SSSTS desirable but not essential
• Right to work in the UK
