Commercial Gas Engineer

Salary: £43,000 – £50,000 per year

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a busy and growing mechanical services team operating across the North West.

This is a full-time, permanent position focused exclusively on commercial and retail sites — no domestic work.

Key Responsibilities:

* Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults on commercial gas appliances and associated plant

* Complete reactive repairs and follow-up works

* Carry out planned servicing of gas appliances and systems

* Complete all gas safety documentation accurately and in a timely manner

What We’re Looking For:

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial gas maintenance and breakdowns

* Valid Commercial ACS certification (essential)

* Domestic ACS, OFTEC, or oil experience (advantageous but not essential)

* Full UK driving licence (essential)

* Additional certifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CSCS are desirable

* Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently
