Depot Workshop Engineer – Powered Access Equipment
St Helens
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
Overtime:
Paid at time and a half
Salary Circa £30k, with guaranteed annual pay rise + performance-related bonus
Benefits: 33 days annual leave, Pension, Westfield Health
The CompanyWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable plant hire company based in St Helens, known for supplying and maintaining high-quality powered access and plant equipment. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Depot Workshop Engineer to their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer seeking long-term stability, great benefits, and a supportive working environment.
The RoleAs a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of powered access equipment — including scissor lifts, cherry pickers, boom lifts, and telehandlers.
Working within a small, friendly depot team, you will ensure all machinery is maintained to a high standard, safe to use, and ready for hire. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone mechanically minded, with some electrical knowledge and a proactive attitude.
