Maintenance Assistant

Maintenance Operative AASC – Wigan, UK.

Full‑time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.5 hours per day (08:00–18:00). On‑call duties once every 8–10 weeks for emergencies.

• Salary: £27,500 to £33,500 per annum (depending on experience and skills)
• Full UK driving licence required
• Vehicle and tools provided
• Up to 6% contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

• Ensure all requested repairs – reactive, proactive, or pre‑planned – are carried out to the required standard and within SLA deadlines.
• Manage own workflow while collaborating with team members as required.
• Maintain health and safety of self and all property users during and after works.
• Purchase and manage materials using a company account card from approved suppliers only.
• Regularly inspect and maintain company‑provided vehicles to ensure they remain clean and professional.

• Previous maintenance experience in joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting, or decorating.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK.
• Valid UK driving licence.
