Apprentice Fire and Security Engineer

This company is a UK engineering and facilities management company providing mechanical, electrical and building services across a range of sectors. The company delivers design, installation and maintenance solutions nationwide.

The business also operates within the fire and security sector, offering services including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, emergency lighting and ongoing maintenance to help clients maintain safe, secure and compliant premises.

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:

• Access Control
• Video Surveillance
• Intruder Alarms
• Fire Alarms

• Full UK Drivers Licence preferred, would be required by the end of the apprenticeship
• Candidate will need to be based in Wigan with a WN postcode due to works
• Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
• CSCS card preferred
• 18+ due to site restrictions

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.

You’ll train through block release at our Warrington centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
