Regional Refrigeration Engineer  North West  Are you an experienced  Commercial Refrigeration Engineer  looking for a permanent regional role with a  £50,000 salary, company vehicle and fuel card ?
We are recruiting for an experienced  Regional Refrigeration Engineer  to join an established and growing engineering team based in  Leigh , covering commercial refrigeration systems across the  North West .
This is a varied, field-based position involving  planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns, fault finding, installation and commissioning  across a number of retail and operational sites.
The role would suit a qualified refrigeration engineer who is confident working independently, enjoys fault finding and is looking for a stable long-term position with regional coverage.

The Role  As a Regional Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of commercial refrigeration systems across the North West.
Your responsibilities will include:
Servicing, maintaining and repairing  commercial refrigeration systems
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across multiple sites
Diagnosing and resolving refrigeration faults
Attending breakdowns and reactive maintenance callouts
Installing and commissioning refrigeration equipment
Working on  chillers, freezers, cold rooms and display refrigeration systems
Ensuring all work complies with  F-Gas regulations  and relevant health and safety requirements
Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
Working closely with site teams to minimise operational disruption
Supporting the reliability and performance of refrigeration equipment
Managing your own regional workload and travel effectively
About You  We are looking for an experienced  Refrigeration Engineer / Commercial Refrigeration Engineer  with strong technical and diagnostic skills.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience working on  commercial refrigeration systems
F-Gas Category 1 certification  essential
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities

Experience with  chillers, freezers, cold rooms and display refrigeration
Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
Installation and commissioning experience
The ability to work independently and manage a regional workload
A  full UK driving licence
Good communication and organisational skills
A professional and safety-conscious approach
