About The Role
Days of Working:
Monday to Friday - 2:30pm to 5:30pm
- Support in managing the Front of House day-to-day operations of catering services, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently
- Support in creating and planning daily menus that are innovative, cost-effective, and meet dietary requirements
- Monitor the quality of food and beverages, ensuring portion control, and maintaining high standards of presentation
- Lead and supervise the Front of House catering team, including training staff and managing their performance
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client needs and resolving any issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain hygiene standards, and keep accurate records
- Order supplies, manage stock levels, and conduct inventory checks
- Help to control costs and ensure the catering service is financially viable
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Contract Catering industry is required
- Hold relevant qualifications, have knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety is a must
- A proven track record in supervising a team and leadership is crucial
- Demonstrate high standards and be well organised in all areas of Management
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills are essential
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Ability to handle different situations and find practical solutions
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Good time-management and organisational abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Competent with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- While not always mandatory, having a food hygiene certificate (Level
2) is advantageous
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Have an understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control
