Salary: $18.28 – $24.50 per hour (Per Unit C Contract)

• Provide individualized instructional and behavioral support under direction of classroom or special education teacher.
• Support communication, including use of AAC devices, visual schedules, and other tools.
• Assist with self‑care tasks such as toileting, feeding, and dressing while maintaining dignity.
• Promote positive social interactions between student and peers.
• Implement strategies and accommodations outlined in the student’s IEP or 504 Plan.
• Collect data on student progress and behavior as requested by teaching or therapy staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all applicable school and district policies.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development relevant to the role.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Experience working with young children and/or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to lift and physically support students safely.
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
• Valid CORI and suitable fingerprinting results required before employment can begin.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
