What You’ll Do- Provide professional, friendly service to members during every interaction.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and other transactions accurately.
- Cash checks and verify signatures, identification, and available funds.
- Prepare and issue cashier’s checks, money orders, travelers’ checks, and other negotiable instruments.
- Enter and record transactions within the credit union’s systems.
- Review financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Promote credit union products and services that meet member needs.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions.
- Receive and count cash, drafts, and other negotiable items.
- Prepare cash shipments and deposits.
- Order and maintain appropriate cash supplies for branch operations.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of member information and negotiable instruments.
- Support branch operations and complete additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong math and cash handling abilities.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Ability to learn credit union products, services, and procedures.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
This is an on-site role in either Ludlow, MA or Wilbraham, MA. The salary range is $17-$20/ hr depending on experience.
