Shift: Mornings

Perform day-to-day laundry services ensuring patients' laundry needs are met in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care Center standards.

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Preferred:
  Prior health care experience

• Knowledgeable of practices and procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing operations in post-acute care facilities.
• Ability to implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department.
• Proficient in all competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintains professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.
• Maintains confidentiality of proprietary or confidential information.
• Understands and follows company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
• Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care Center's Code of Conduct.
• Completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other compliance training.

• Perform day-to-day laundry functions: collecting, sorting, ironing, folding, stacking, hanging, and distributing.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Perform physical tasks: sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
