Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, equal to or exceeding the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform required inspections before operating.
• Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices and collected funds at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate customer problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents or damage to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at closing.
• Clock in and out according to company policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.

• Ability to match alphanumeric sequences quickly.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meeting the company’s 14-18 point system.
• Legally required state driver’s license and compliance with company driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiarity with automotive parts (desired).
• Ability to operate other light store equipment (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages;
  Spanish highly desired (desired).
