We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate clinical operations in the Emergency Department. This role provides leadership and support to nursing staff while ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER environment averaging 100–120 patients daily. The RN Supervisor will oversee staffing, patient flow, compliance, and emergency interventions while serving as a clinical resource and role model.

• Superv ise and coordinate daily Emergency Department operations and staffing.
• Provide leadership and support to nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Perform patient assessments, triage, and nursing interventions per hospital standards.
• Assist with emergency procedures, trauma care, advanced airway management, procedural sedation, and cardiac monitoring.
• Monitor patient flow, staffing utilization, and department operations in a high-volume ER setting.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA, HIPAA, COBRA, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Support staff education, competency validation, orientation, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and efficiency.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, incident investigations, and departmental audits.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency interventions.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and communicate patient care updates.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for emergency nursing best pra
  ctices.

• Active state RN License.
• Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Room RN experience.
• Previous Charge Nurse or ER Supervisory experience required.
• BSN preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• NIH Stroke Certification.
• TNCC and MICN preferred/required for IVMC candidates.
• CEN/CCRN highly preferred.
