Position: Med/Surg/Tele Certified Nursing Assistant - Full Time - Days

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists with patient care under the supervision of the RN or other medical professionals. They may provide patients with help walking, moving in and out of bed, positioning, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming and other tasks. Additionally, performs specimen collection documents in the EMR, and transports patients as assigned. The employee may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.

Qualifications

Education

  • Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program.

Certifications / Licenses

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association required.
  • Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate.

Experience

  • Six (6) months CNA experience in a SNF or acute facility preferred.
