Clinical Supervisor; RN - Emergency Department - Day Shift

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital located in Wildomar, California is a 122‑bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission and the only designated trauma center in Riverside County. The hospital performs more than 4,000 surgeries a year and serves over 4,000 emergency department visits per month. The facility also houses a Bariatric Weight‑Loss Surgery Center of Excellence and the region’s only Total Joint Center.

Reporting to the Director/Manager, the Clinical Supervisor provides excellence in patient care, leads collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, and performs assessments, treatment, and care on assigned unit(s). They practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal, and hospital policies, and consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the hospital’s Core Values and mission statement. The Clinical Supervisor acts as a resource and leader in the assigned unit(s) and demonstrates critical thinking in the management of patient care and patient flow, defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

• Manage and supervise nursing staff on the unit.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality patient care.

• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.

• Maintain compliant documentation and adhere to regulatory standards.

• Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development for RN staff.

• Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives.

• Two (2) years of recent department‑specific experience.
• Charge nurse or supervisory experience in the department preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• BSN preferred.

• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS (AHA) Certification.
• ACLS (AHA) Certification.
• PALS (AHA) Certification.
• NIH Stroke Certification.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)/Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) encouraged.
