• Preparing dogs, cats and the occasional bunny for spay and neuter surgeries at the Clinic
• Directly and positively assisting in the reduction of pet overpopulation in our client cities
• Intaking, examining and caring for animals that are brought to the Shelter

• Must have a current California State Registered Veterinary Technician License
• 6 months of experience as an RVT
• Confident, calm leadership skills to supervise a small surgery team
• Certification in or ability to obtain a Certificate for Humane Euthanasia within 90 days of hire
• Ability to conduct humane euthanasia as required
• The experience and readiness to conduct high volume spay and neuter surgeries at the Clinic
• The diagnostic skills and animal health assessment knowledge to examine incoming animal patients at the Shelter
• Interest or experience in the unique world of Shelter Medicine is a definite plus!
• A strong drive and desire to help animals who truly need you!

• $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
