Job Description
At Clinton Keith Veterinary Hospital we have doctors that love to teach. We are located in the Temecula Valley with beautiful views of the mountains and not too far from the wineries. Our hospital is newer with many "state‑of‑the‑art" equipment available. Central location from San Diego to Big Bear, where you can enjoy the beaches or snow‑covered mountains.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the supervising veterinarian to gather patient histories.
- Perform physical exams and create treatment plans.
- Assist in diagnostics and dentistry services.
- Observe, assist, or perform surgical procedures.
- Manage patients medically.
- Practice communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients.
Externship experiences range from two to eight weeks depending on student and hospital schedules. All veterinary students (regardless of class year) are encouraged to participate. Students in the clinical portion of their education are eligible for a travel/living expense stipend.
