What You Will Be DoingYou will be an integral part of the platform engineering team supporting a high-volume, enterprise cloud environment. Your primary responsibility will be to own and execute infrastructure and platform tickets end-to-end in a fast-paced, overload environment. You will work independently to build, extend, and support automation patterns using Terraform and Azure Dev Ops, ensuring reliable deployment processes. Additionally, you will support application teams in containerizing .NET
applications within Azure Container Apps and collaborate within the existing standup and delivery cadence. This is a 3-month Contract-to-Hire engagement where your technical expertise will directly impact the stability and scalability of the platform.
- Manage and resolve platform and infrastructure tickets independently from pickup to resolution.
- Extend and support Terraform-based self-service deployment patterns.
- Collaborate with application teams to containerize .NET applications and facilitate their transition into Azure Container Apps.
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops and GIT.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment processes via Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux systems, scripting, and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and flag potential blockers early.
- Adhere to and follow the client's existing delivery and standup cadence.
- 3-5+ years of experience in platform or site reliability engineering within cloud environments.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform and Pulumi for infrastructure automation.
- Strong knowledge of Ansible for automation of machine and application deployments.
- Proficiency with Docker and Azure Container Apps.
- Linux system administration experience, including Bash scripting and Python development.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops, automated pipelines, and GIT version control.
- Familiarity with Azure core services such as AKS, Entra , and Microsoft Defender.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently and own tasks to completion.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in Azure or Dev Ops are a plus.
- Experience supporting application teams during containerization projects.
- Exposure to infrastructure automation frameworks such as Pulumi.
- Prior experience working in high‑pressure or overloaded environments.
$63.00 – $90.00 /hr
